Walking and Days out
The Oxfordshire Way runs through Wyck Rissington Oxfordshire Wayand and there are many walks starting from the village, or just a short drive away. Also, the well known Cotswold Way stretching from Chipping Campden to Bath can be easily divided into shorter walks. The local towns and villages afford wonderful opportunities for shopping . Nearby are the towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold,
Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh as well as the smaller villages of the Slaughters, the Rissingtons, and the Barringtons. A little further away are many attractions in nearby Cheltenham, Oxford or Stratford. A short drive away is Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park.
There is a shared driveway. The owners live next door and are on hand to help with any advice or recommendations to make sure the holiday is as enjoyable as possible.
The Church of St Laurence has a 13th Century tower. The famous composer Gustav Holst was organist here at the early age of seventeen.
